OPUS - STM Card

The OPUS card is the electronical card used for public transportation for the region of Montreal. Full time students aged 18 to 25 and residing in Montreal can obtain a registered photo ID OPUS card in order to purchase and use STM tickets and reduced fare monthly passes.  Students who do not meet the criteria stated above are charged a full tariff for the monthly pass.

Make your way to the photo sessions making sure to bring the following documents with you:

    • A proof of full-time school attendance which you can obtain from the Information desk (2nd floor Decelles building).
    • A proof of age : Health insurance card, passport, student ID card, birth certificate, driving license, etc.
    • A cash payment of $14 (at HEC Montréal) or $15 (at the STM Studio) (exact amount).

Your OPUS card will be immediately delivered to you after your picture has been taken.

Whether you can't go to HEC Montréal to take your picture, you'll have to go the the 1717 Berri, in Montreal Bus Station, metro Berri-UQAM.

+  Fall Term

A photo sessions is held at HEC Montréal for students wishing to obtain the OPUS card at the student rate.

 

Photo session for the fall semester will be held on: 
Wednesday October 9 and Thursday October 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Decelles' Hall des Fondateurs (3rd Floor)
 

+  Winter and Summer Terms

No photo sessions are planned for the winter and summer semesters.  Go to the STM photo studio in order to get the OPUS card at the student rate.
