Eligibility

A limited number of lockers are available in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine and Decelles buildings. Because the number of lockers is limited, each one is assigned to two full-time students for a single term only, without exception; for students of the Intensive MBA program, lockers are assigned for the entire year.

Locker occupation and relinquishment dates

Please keep the following dates in mind. The locker reservation date is the date on which you can reserve a locker online through HEC en ligne, whereas the locker relinquishment date is the deadline for emptying your locker and removing your padlock.

 You must relinquish your locker no later than the last day of each term; otherwise, your lock will be cut off and your personal effects will be brought to the Security office and held for sixty (60) days, after which HEC Montréal will donate them to the non-profit organization of its choice.

Reserve my locker online

Here’s how to reserve your locker online* at the start of each term:

1. Open an HEC en ligne session.
2. In the Service aux étudiants (“student services”) menu, select Réservation de cases (“locker reservations”).
3. Choose one of the two buildings: Côte-Sainte-Catherine (main) or Decelles.
4. Select the current term to make your reservation.
5. Enter the student ID number of the student with whom you are going to share the locker (your locker-mate).
6. Click Enregistrer (“register”).
7. The system will send a confirmation message by e-mail to both you and your locker-mate.

* Note that HEC Montréal supports Internet Explorer version 6 or higher only, and that there is no other way to reserve a locker.

Where is my locker?

Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building
The lockers are located in the lobby and are colour-coded:

• V: for the green section
• B: for the blue section
• R: for the red section
• J: for the yellow section

Decelles Building
The lockers are located on the:

• 1st floor (basement) and are numbered from A-001 to A-070;
• 2nd floor and are numbered from 3-109 to 3-160.

I forgot my locker number

If you forget your locker number, have no fear! Simply return to HEC en ligne: under Service aux étudiants, select the Consulter réservations de cases (“view locker reservations”) menu. The assigned locker number is indicated here.

Liability and padlocks

You are responsible for placing a padlock on your locker. HEC Montréal assumes no liability in this respect. For obvious security reasons, you should never leave valuables (wallet, credit cards, passport, etc.) in your locker. That said, should you decide to leave your laptop computer in your locker, we strongly recommend that you use a security cable.

The Security service can cut any padlock which does not belong to the occupants of the locker.
