Requests for broadcast time on the ADN network

The dynamic digital display network, known by its French acronym of ADN, is an internal communications tool used to promote activities that affect a large proportion of the HEC Montréal community, such as lectures, seminars, workshops and information sessions. Administrative units, research groups and student associations and groups may request broadcast time for their announcements.

Please note that the person responsible for the ADN network:

• designs and produces your announcement and provides no proofs
• decides when and on what channel(s) it will be broadcast

What to include in your request

E-mail this information to adn@hec.ca at least 10 working days before the date of the activity to be announced.

1. Identification

• Department
• Student association, committee or interest group
• Name of contact person

2. Activity to be announced

• Activity title
• Date and time
• Location (building, room)
• Description of the activity (format, specific goal, guest speakers, etc.)
• Target audience
• Cost
• Registration, if required
• Contact person for the public (website, e-mail address or telephone)

3. Ready-to-use promotional material

Technical specifications:

Photos:

• Minimum size: 4 in x 6 in
• Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
• Formats accepted .tif, .jpg, .ai, or .eps

Videos:

• Video aspect ratio (LH): 16:9
• Resolution (HD): 1280 x 720
• Extensions accepted: .avi, .mpg, QuickTime, .wmv
