Employment Data: M.Sc.

Employment information is based on an annual survey conducted by Career Management Services among all graduating students in this program.

When negotiating compensation, the following statistics must be interpreted with caution. Significant factors such as geographical region, business size and industry sector, largely influence working conditions and compensation. Usually, the median is the best indicator of how a degree is valued on the employment market compared with the average that can vary considerably according to the number of very high-end and very low-end salaries.

Prior to accepting a position, you must take into account several factors when negotiating your compensation: signing bonus, performance bonus, fringe benefits, flexible schedule, annual vacation, pension plan, cost of membership to an association or professional corporation, professional development, company car and other non-monetary benefits.  Your decision will ultimately be influenced by the importance you give to each of the compensation factors.
