HEC Montréal celebrates 110 years of history and excellence.

2013

The 25th Jeux du Commerce are held at the School. The HEC Montréal team takes first place overall in this interuniversity competition founded by BBA students in 1989.

2013

HEC Montréal receives an Excellence in Architecture Award for its renovations to the Decelles building, as part of the annual competition held by the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).

2012

The School launches its new virtual campus, called EDUlib, a platform offering free online university-level courses for the public in different management disciplines.

2012

HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and the Université de Montréal launch the most ambitious fundraising campaign ever in the Francophone university community, dubbed Campus Montréal.

2010

The Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada unveils a commemorative plaque saluting the national historic significance of the founding of HEC Montréal.

2007

To mark its 100th anniversary, HEC Montréal kicks off a year of celebrations.

2007

The McGill-HEC Montreal Executive MBA program is created. This program is designed for experienced managers who occupy or are destined to senior management positions.

2005

The trilingual BBA is launched, with courses in French, English and Spanish – another great first in North America.

2003

Another great North American first: HEC Montréal receives AACSB International certification. Added to its EQUIS (awarded in 1999) and AMBA (awarded in 2002) accreditations, it becomes the first business school in North America to hold this three-fold mark of quality.

2002

The International Office – Europe opens in Paris.
