The increasing supply of electricity from renewable resources requires a stronger management of the electricity demand than today. Due to their high power levels Electric Vehicles (EV) will further increase the need for demand side management - at the same time they seem to be a suitable "device" to control. In this study we therefore analyze how the charging behavior of EV-users could be managed and how EV-users evaluate the concept of smart charging.
